Being Thankful for family, friends and turkey are on the top of everyone’s list this time of year but for me I have one more thing I get excited about and that is, setting the table! Not only do I get to set my own table but I have the privilege of helping my clients determine color schemes and styles for their own table settings. Since each of my clients has their own vision and individual style this task is an exciting one. Here are some of the ideas I will be sharing with my clients this week, starting out with a vintage iron turkey, creamy white color scheme and a layered look for the place settings.
I love the idea of dining outside if the weather permits. Below, a rustic outdoor table-scape on an antique pine table with natural wood chargers and various style chairs is so inviting. A crisp white palette with hints of rust and incorporating fresh fruit into centerpieces and as place card holders is just delectable. Think outside the box, your guests will really enjoy it.
Get ready for the Wow Factor of table settings, for the hostess that craves details this might be the perfect look. Amber glass, patterned pottery layered with a natural woven charger and various touches of autumn.
A chevron table runner adds just the right amount of pattern and color for a more simple table setting with character. I love the re-purposed dining chairs painted in white.
Below, the idea of using a bold centerpiece for buffet tables creates the perfect focal point here with pumpkins and moss. Check out the fabulous turkey patterned plates, a touch of crystal and soft feel of the color scheme.
I want to leave you with a final thought; even the simplest of details can make all the difference when setting your table. This flatware is the perfect example of that, how sweet. We gather at the table and memories are made that can last a lifetime. Create an atmosphere that reflects how much you care and traditions that your family and friends will look forward to each year.
