Ok ladies, it’s Super Bowl Sunday and for most of us that means cooking and serving while our boys have all the fun. Let’s break away for a minute to meet the quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, New Jersey native Joe Flacco and his lovely bride Dana Grady. Today I want to share their love story and wedding style.
Dana and Joe met at Audubon High School in New Jersey and started dating at the end of his senior year. They dated for nine years before tying the knot in 2011 at the same church his parents were married in, Holy Savior Parish. The day began in the home where Dana was raised, isn’t the lace on her gown and silk trimmed veil exquisite?
After a beautiful ceremony at Holy Savior the next stop was their high school. Below, look at Dana Flacco playing the part of his offensive line as center. Photographer Jason Prezant created the perfect combination of whimsical, candid and posed images.
A whimsical side of this couple takes the wedding party to an action flick at a Somerdale, NJ, movie theater. Their fabulous wedding planner, Rebecca Richman, told The Baltimore Sun that it held sentimental meaning for the couple.
The reception was held at the fabulous Hyatt Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. Below is an image from the reception featuring their glamorous table setting, just lovely. The practical side of the couple registered at Crate and Barrel and Macy’s. My favorite pick from their registry was their dinnerware, Vera Wang Wedgewood Gold Lace.
Fast forward to present; The couple welcomed their first baby into the world, June 14, 2012, Stephen Flacco and today February 3, 2013 daddy Joe Flacco may be the next Super Bowl MVP!
Update; Congratulations Baltimore Ravens NFL Super Bowl XLVII Champions and to Joe Flacco Super Bowl MVP!
