Inspiration to Interior: My Fashion Week Favorite

Fashion Week NYC Fall 2013 has ended and I wanted to share my favorite dress of the week. Glamour and  luxurious designs epitomize fashion designer Jenny Packham, known for her fabulous evening wear and party dresses. Her sumptuous designs have been worn by the most iconic and influential women, from Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Rhianna and Beyonce to The Duchess of Cambridge. Recognized as one of the UKs most successful fashion brands and world renowed. I just adore this dress showcased on the runway at Fashion Week, drawing inspiration from it for interior design is a piece of cake.

I am immediately drawn to the color palette of this garment and wanted the interior to tell the same story. Warm and inviting with a touch of elegance. Classic lines with a modern twist and vintage character. The clean lines of the upholstery are the perfect complement to the more traditional chandelier, crest and mantel. Vintage area rugs add character and scrumptious pillows in various textures carry through the color scheme. Just lovely don’t you think? It has been a fabulous week of inspiration thanks to Fashion Week and I hope you enjoyed bringing inspiration to interior.

I’ve really enjoyed this week’s articles and this last one is definitely my favorite. What a dress and what a great room you’ve paired it with.
