What I love about Anne Hathaway is how natural and down to earth her persona is. She grew up in picturesque Millburn, New Jersey just thirty minutes from my home and performed in a regional theater I take my children to called, the Paper Mill Playhouse. Since the day I watched Anne in The Princess Diaries with my daughter I have been a fan and wow, has she come a long way. Nominated for an Oscar this evening for best Supporting Actress for her role as Fantine, a role her mother played in the first U.S. tour of Les Misérables, she is favored to win. Looking stunning here wearing, the “Dorning” dress” by The Row, at the 2013 Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Now for the behind the scenes tour of Anne’s residence.
Married to Adam Shulman on September 29, 2012, in Big Sur, California the couples apartment is located in the fabulous Clocktower building in the Dumbo section of Brooklyn, New York and that is where our House Tour begins today. The 1,414 square foot, $6,400 per month apartment, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and fabulous views.
The apartment, is in a renovated prewar building featuring 12-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, an open plan kitchen, walk-in closets, an office, and a laundry room. ”The Clocktower” building features a 24-hour concierge, a gym, and a rooftop deck. Simple, sleek and modern furnishings, love the chair pattern and pop of color. Below, the kitchen follows the same modern concept with an industrial touch for the seating.
Above, an upholstered headboard in just the right shade of orange and is my wow factor pick paired with natural wood night stands and chic lighting. So there you have it, Anne’s modern chic address. Don’t miss this evenings performance, in addition to her nomination for Best Supporting Actress, Anne will perform with her “Les Miserables” cast mates during a musical medley. Best of Luck Anne!!
Update: Congratulations to Oscar Winner Anne Hathaway, her performance took our breath away!
