I am crazy for the Ombre’ trend that is happening everywhere. The term Ombre’ means shadow or shaded in French; this hot trend is essentially colors or tones that shade into each other, color is graduated from light to dark or vice versa.
Q. What is your favorite medium tone gray?
A. There are several shades of gray that I love so it is difficult to select just one. Two of my favorites are Down Pipe by Farrow & Ball (image from Lonny Magazine) and Stone Harbor by Benjamin Moore. A fabulous shade of gray can create the perfect backdrop to a wall gallery or when used on trim and doors adds a modern design element to any space. I also enjoy adding a splash of orange or yellow for a bit of whimsy. You can choose your favorite pop of color, everything looks good with gray.
