Working on several homes on the coast currently the trend has been “white” everything from kitchens to walls to moldings. The design collaboration of Elisa Allen and Matt MacEachern featured in New England Home caught my eye as I dream about summer vacations and the quaint villages of New England. If you have been to Nantucket you already know what a treasure it is sitting among the islands of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
I am currently working on a project where my clients just adore wainscoting, moldings and trim. Architects, Austin Patterson Disston have brought this concept to life in this fabulous country home that we are touring today. Above the entryway is always a favorite place to add wainscoting, here the walls are full panels which are just spectacular. The same concept is carried through to the living room. Read more
