Historic Barn Revival

I’m from New Jersey, don’t cringe it is actually quite beautiful here and a wonderful place to raise a family. There are so many myths surrounding my state that I wanted to dispel a few of them and then take you on a tour of one of New Jersey’s treasures, a historic barn from our countryside (yes, we do have a countryside). I just adore the open plan concept and this condo sets the stage for chic styling. Starting out in the seating area; an area rug defines and grounds the seating arrangement, fabulous throw pillows add a subtle pop of color and pattern while a simple coffee table arrangement finishes the look. Breaking Down The Walls

After designing all day watching HGTV is not exactly my idea of relaxing but the men on these shows are seriously talented and not so bad to look at LOL. Ok, back to the topic. When I graduated from design school the term open plan was mainly used in commercial interior design, I had a few clients in Florida that were experimenting with the concept in residential design.
